Located near the Verdigris River in southeast Kansas, Coffeyville is a thriving manufacturing community known for its friendly people, the demise of the infamous Dalton Gang in 1892, and its early 1900s glass and brick plants. Aquatic Center

Aviation Heritage Museum
Housed in a 1930’s era hangar, the Aviation Heritage Museum is dedicated the area’s pioneering pilots. The museum showcases memorabilia from the Coffeyville Air Base, a Funk airplane, in addition to many other early aviation displays. Located in Pfister Park. Brown Mansion
The elegant lifestyle of the early 1900's is made evident when entering the Brown Mansion, built in 1907 by W. P. Brown. The four-floor, 16-room home is still outfitted with its original furniture, wall and floor coverings. Nine rooms are situated on the main floor, including the dining room adorned with a signed Tiffany chandelier. The second floor is comprised of the home’s sleeping quarters, and a ballroom graces the entire third floor. A full basement houses the butler quarters, laundry, heating system, and walk-in ice box. Coffeyville Bricks
When operating at full capacity, Coffeyville's four brick factories manufactured over 765,000 bricks daily. The bricks, imprinted with a company name or special design, can be found worldwide, and have become collector’s items. One of the best known Coffeyville bricks is the yoke brick made by the Yoke Vitrified Brick Company. Another popular brick is the "Don't Spit on Sidewalk" brick, which according to local legend kicked off a health campaign that eventually swept the country to combat tuberculosis. Coffeyville Inter-State Fair & Rodeo

Dalton Defenders Plaza and Death Alley
In 1892 the notorious Dalton Gang attempted to rob two banks simultaneously. The townspeople banded together to defend the banks, and the robbers were unsuccessful. Three of the gang members were killed as were four Coffeyville citizens, including the Marshall. Visitors can walk the same path taken by the Daltons as they tried to pull of the heist. Markers commemorate the four Coffeyville citizens that were killed, and Death Alley features the old jail with replicas of the Daltons as they were laid out following their death. Dalton Museum
The infamous Dalton Raid of 1892 is remembered at the Dalton Defenders Museum. The museum displays memorabilia and pictures from the raid, guns, saddles, the original First National Bank doors and many other items from the city’s early days. A replica of the heaviest hailstone on record, which fell in Coffeyville on September 3, 1970 and measures 17.6 inches in circumference, is also on display. Elmwood Cemetery
The final resting place for three members of the Dalton Gang resides in Elmwood Cemetery, where an old hitching post marks the graves. Emmett Dalton, the gang’s only survivor, returned to Coffeyville many years after the 1892 raid and placed a permanent marker on the graves. Located just off Eldridge on South Walnut (Highway 169). Hillcrest Golf Course
Located in Pfister Park, Hillcrest is a public 18-hole golf course designed by Perry Maxwell. Historic Murals

Midland Theater
Currently under restoration, the 1928 Midland Theater was recently purchased by the City of Coffeyville to preserve and restore the historic building, as well as the adjacent Alamo building, as a multipurpose facility to accommodate public performances, events and activities.
