Manhattan is a proud little city in northeastern Kansas. It's the seat of Riley County, and is home to Kansas State University, and Fort Riley. Set just off I-70, it's easily accessible. The close proximity to the highway also means accessing local and nearby attractions as breeze. For a touch of local history and culture, be sure to visit the Goodnow House, built in 1861. The Riley County Historical Museum also lends some unique historical perspective. Anglers love getting out early to Tuttle Creek Lake for some breakfast fishing - Pottawatomie State Fishing Lake No. 2 is another great local spot. Sports fans are in for a treat, as the Kansas State University Wildcats play their football games at the Bill Snyder Family Stadium, found on the northwestern end of campus.
